1. Practice Tests

Our practice tests simulate the real exam experience, helping candidates familiarize themselves with the test format and time constraints. These tests include a combination of reading, listening, speaking, and writing sections, enabling you to assess your skills in all key areas. By taking these practice tests, you can identify your strengths and weaknesses, helping you focus your preparation efforts on the areas that need improvement.

a. Full-Length Practice Tests: Mock exams that replicate the actual ielp test, providing an accurate preview of what to expect.

b. Section-Specific Practice: Practice tests for specific sections (reading, writing, listening, speaking) to give focused practice on each skill.

2. Sample Questions and Answers

ielp provides a wide range of sample questions and model answers. These samples help test takers understand the types of questions they will encounter in each section of the exam. Reviewing these examples can improve your understanding of the expected responses and help you structure your answers more effectively.

a. Reading Comprehension Samples: Examples of reading passages with comprehension questions.

b. Writing Samples: Sample writing prompts along with high-quality model responses.

c. Speaking Prompts: Example speaking tasks, demonstrating the best ways to approach oral responses.

3. Test structure

ielp is a computer adaptive test, where the question sequence and difficulty changes for each test taker and test session.

a.Introduction and onboarding 5 minutes : Test takers ensure that their computer’s camera, speakers, and microphone are functioning properly, submit their government-issued photo ID, and review the test rules and requirements.

b.Adaptive test 45 minutes : Measures applicants’ English skills through a series of different question types. Test questions are administered randomly. Question difficulty changes based on performance

c.Writing Sample and Speaking Sample 10 minutes : Test takers are given a prompt and asked to respond at length. The Speaking Sample allows for a 1–3 minute response, and the Writing Sample allows for a 3–5 minute response. You will receive these samples when an applicant sends you their test scores.
